The property

Located in the picturesque coastal resort of Harlech, North Wales, Stoneycroft is a spectacular three-story semi-detached holiday home.

For a group retreat to North Wales, Stoneycroft is the ideal location, offering a homely and sociable interior with sea views from every window, whilst also framing wonderful views of the Llyn Peninsula and the peaks of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.

As soon as you arrive, park your car in one of the two off-road spots offered, where a handy 7kw electric car charger can be found, before making use of the convenient hallway space that welcomes you upon entry to unload your belongings and get settled into your new home-away-from-home.

As the rustic woodburning stove crackles in the open-plan living/dining room, you may relax and unwind on the plush corner sofa, or simply gaze out the bay window onto the lush greens of Harlech golf course.

Make use of the well-equipped kitchen's wide choice of amenities to whip up a tasty meal before gathering around the dining table with your loved ones to indulge; the space also hosts a beans-to-cup automatic Siemens coffee machine, perfect for the mornings.

Carry the conversa-tion outdoors and enjoy a crisp glass of wine under the stars in your private garden, where a glass balustrade affords views across the rooftops to the shimmering waves of the nearby shore.

As the day turns to night, retreat indoors to find the elegant family bathroom on the first floor, featuring a bathtub and a large walk-in shower cubicle; soak in the tub with a good book in hand, or quickly rinse off after a day of exploration in the shower.

Two doubles and a bunk can be found across the hallway, while a twin room is located on the second floor, offering the ideal sleeping quarters for both families and friends sharing.

Your close proximity to the golden sands of Harlech Beach means that you can take full advantage of the stunning views of the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountain range while paddling the shores or relaxing on the dunes with a picnic.

Harlech itself has a few local gems that are a short walk from the property, including a small family-run Italian restaurant serving fantastic, sit-in food, freshly baked goods in the mornings and takeaway pizzas and pasta, along with an artisan ice cream shop serving homemade delights, as well as a local deli shop selling Welsh pies.

Additionally, there is a newly opened artisan shop in the town, where you can buy delicious, frozen ready meals, along with fresh fruit, vegetables, pastries and bread; there’s also in-store wine tasting here!

You can also find a variety of small craft shops, welcoming cafes, along with access to a swimming pool and climbing centre; the kids can also enjoy a local playground and football pitch.

The World Heritage Site of Harlech Castle is also within reach, with a nearby park, and the award-winning Royal St. David's Golf Club for those who want to test their skills on the greens.

The Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways and the Italianate architecture of Portmeirion are just a short drive away, each offering trips through picture-perfect landscapes.

If you're looking for excitement, head to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and climb Wales' largest peak, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), or spend an afternoon exploring the caves at Bounce Below.

Stoneycroft is a great starting point for exploring Wales.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £450.
