“We very much enjoyed our stay.”

The cottage was nice, clean and comfortable and the surroundings were nice too. It was well positioned for the beach, Harlech and the castle. We'd visit again for sure...

The property

A wonderful mix of contemporary and quirky presentation, this bright and airy holiday home is nestled within a quiet residential cul-de-sac, located in Lower Harlech, just a short walk away from the lovely sandy beach and well-known Royal St. David's Golf Club.

Beautifully appointed throughout, the owner has tastefully combined contemporary furnishings with retro touches to provide an excellent base for couples and families to enjoy a coastal break in this popular town.

Enter the property on the ground floor, where there is a lovely patio complete with a small seating area, perfect to enjoy a morning coffee as you plan your day ahead.

On the ground floor are two of the three bedrooms; a king-size with a feature accent wall reflecting the coastal theme visible throughout this property, and a single bedroom, also furnished to a high standard.

The contemporary shower room is well-appointed with good quality towels and mirror lights; also on this floor is a compact utility area that has a washing machine, ideal for cleaning up your holiday essentials.

A quirky roped banister leads up the stairs past a driftwood piece of artwork into the social open-plan living area, where a deep corner sofa provides a fantastic place to relax after a day on the beach and the cleverly designed Smart TV on a folding arm can be angled so that everyone can watch their favourite film together.

The kitchen has been thoughtfully designed with oak worktops and under counter lighting and is very well equipped with everything required to rustle up a delicious meal on the lovely dining table.

The third bedroom is also on this floor, a single with a daybed, boasting ample storage and beautiful décor.

This wonderful property is well located; a short stroll takes you straight to a glorious sandy beach, or alternatively the town of Harlech with a selection of shops to pick up any essentials, and eateries for a dining experience away from the kitchen.

Famous for its 13th century castle which is well worth a visit, Harlech is a haven for golf lovers with links to the fantastic golf course of Royal St Davids, whilst children and adults can enjoy the indoor swimming pool and climbing wall nearby.

When you have had enough of the beach, head inland and enjoy the myriad of footpaths and outdoor pursuits that the Snowdonia National Park has to offer, cascading across exceptional views and memorable scenes of nature.

Explore the historic slate caverns down the eerie Jacob's Ladder, roaming around fascinating chambers and tunnels.

Venture out to the unique Italianate village of Portmeirion, as you transport into a unique experience of Italian-style culture, whilst the coastal town of Porthmadog is also worth a visit.

This first-class property will be waiting for you on your return whatever you choose to do.
