There’s also Porthmadog, where you can hop onto the Ffestiniog railway, sit back, and enjoy the stunning scenery and be taken back in time as the world famous steam train chugs its way through the mountains.
Portmeirion is also nearby, with its magical Italianate village overlooking the white sandy beaches of the Dwyryd Estuary.
