    “The house was beautiful, rooms, bathrooms and kitchen all really clean.”

    Comfortable beds and a really cute welcome basket left out on our arrival. The house is well loved and Its a stones throw away from the beach. We loved our stay. Laura was amazing in any additional information needed and quick to respond.

A historic property that dates back to the 15th century, Bennar Fawr is ideal for a large family celebration or gathering, with its stunning and spacious interiors, outdoor spaces and ample off-road parking for up to 15 cars!

You will be wowed by Bennar Fawr's marvellous exterior as you pull up outside; take in the sea breeze and the landscaped gardens before entering the impressive dwelling.

After an adventurous day out, there is nothing better than unwinding, and Bennar Fawr provides plenty of that, thanks to its numerous sitting areas, including two well-decorated sitting rooms; both feature TVs.

Move across the ground floor to find a spacious snug that can seat all the group, where you can enjoy a catch up over coffee, or perhaps you'd prefer to catch the sunny rays in the conservatory?

When you're feeling peckish, make your way to the large kitchen/diner, a very stylish spot that would please any aspiring chef, with its sleek fittings hosting several ovens, hobs, dishwashers and even wine chillers!

Gather around the lengthy dining table to enjoy a grand meal with your loved ones, or simply savour a quick meal-to-go at the breakfast bar if you're eager to head out to the beach.

After dinner, choose between one of 10 beautifully appointed bedrooms, all enjoying names that reflect the region, with six of these enjoying identical en-suite shower rooms and resting on the ground floor, including five super-king-sizes, with two offering single sofa beds, along with a family room that features four single beds; ideal for the kids!

Venture upstairs to find five more bedrooms, with three of these resting in the west wing of the property and enjoying far-reaching views of the sand dunes, including two super-king-sizes sharing access to a fabulous shower room and bathroom, along with a king-size with an en-suite shower room.

Continue to the east wing to discover another super-king-size and a twin room that are situated close to an additional shower room.

The property also hosts two cloakrooms, to prevent those morning queues.

In the morning, the kids can play on the spacious lawns in the front and rear gardens, whilst you unwind in the sauna, summerhouse or the two spacious hot tubs.

Benar beach is just moments away from the house, where plenty of fun can be had in the sun and sand; be sure to visit Tal-y-bont afterward, where a hearty meal can be savoured at The Ysgethin Inn.

Dyffryn Ardudwy lies a short distance away and hosts all your amenities in one handy spot, including a hotel with a bar/restaurant, supermarket and a handful of intriguing attractions, from the Dyffryn Ardudwy Burial Chamber to the local art gallery.

Hop on the train from Dyffryn Ardudwy and run through the coastal scenery to Harlech, where a breathtaking castle, extensive beach and the vast Morfa Harlech National Nature Reserve await.

Barmouth can also be reached by train, and is home to another gorgeous beach, Traeth Abermaw, a hiking trail that provides panoramic views of the quaint town, along with a harbour where you can go crabbing or board a boat to the idyllic village of Fairbourne.

The pleasant village of Dyffryn Ardudwy quietly nestles between The Rhinogs, part of the Eryri (Snowdonia) Mountains, and the stunning golden beaches of the North Wales coastline. The unusual positioning of this charming village results in it having its own mild climate, as well as offering good local shops. The surrounding area has an exciting array of wildlife and birds including soaring buzzards. The small town of Harlech is just 4 miles away, dominated by its majestic 13th century castle which is a World Heritage Site, and the most impressive of all the castles built in North Wales by Edward I. Popular with golfers due to its famous Royal St. David's course, Harlech also boasts an excellent variety of amenities including some good quality restaurants.
