  • As the cottage has a spiral staircase accessing the found floor bedrooms to the first floor living area which makes it unsuitable for infants under 3 or guests with mobility issues

This is a wonderful Trawsfynydd cottage with a woodburner in the first floor open plan living accommodation and French doors onto a raised veranda providing views of the Rhinog mountain range.

There are two ground floor bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms, providing accommodation for a small family or two couples who wish to explore this part of North Wales.

A wonderful location for mountain biking enthusiasts and walkers as on the doorstep is the renowned Coed-y-Brenin Forest with its famous mountain biking trails.

Enjoy the surrounding hill and mountain scenery, fishing in Trawsfynydd Lake, white water rafting, canoeing and the beautiful beaches at Porthmadog, Harlech and Barmouth.

Porthmadog 12 miles; Dolgellau 13 miles; Harlech 14 miles.

This traditional Welsh village lies in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, and is surrounded by the Rhinog, Moelwyn and Arenig mountains. The impressive Trawsfynydd Lake, which is only a short walk from the village, is renowned for its fishing and offers a recently completed walking and cycling route around the entire lake. The village itself boasts a small variety of shops. This area is a mecca for outdoor activities including excellent water sports, climbing, walking, fishing, golf and mountain biking. The beautiful beaches at Black Rock Sands, Harlech and Barmouth are close by, as are the bustling towns of Dolgellau and Porthmadog. Visit castles, narrow gauge railways, slate and copper mines and the famous Portmeirion Italianate Village.
