The property

Overlooking the sandy shores of the breath-taking Welsh coast is this stunning self-catering abode, Sandpiper Apartment.

Within reaching distance of the mountainous landscapes of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, this fabulous top-floor apartment offers the perfect blend of coast and countryside, making this the ultimate base from which a family or group of five can discover the true delights of North Wales.

Climb the steep staircase up this split-level property and be greeted by a contemporary shower room with attractive herringbone flooring and a spacious walk-in shower, a wonderful space to prepare for the day ahead.

Continuing up a second flight of stairs, you will arrive at a sociable dining area adorned with a large wood table and pretty pictures of the local sights, where you can indulge in many hearty home-cooked meals throughout your stay.

An adjoining kitchen/living room can be found boasting an array of sleek electrical appliances such as an impressive induction hob and electric oven, as well as an inviting blue sofa that is perfect for cosying up to loved ones as you watch entertaining movies on the flat-screen TV.

Just across the way a family bedroom with bright white walls, chic blue hues and both a double and a single bed, has the benefit of a handy en-suite shower room, whilst the bunk room provides a quaint space to tuck-in the children.

Make the most of your time in Wales, with spectacular hikes along the coast path, stopping off on the sugary sands of Harlech Beach or exploring local landmarks such as Cors y Gedol, Dyffryn Ardudwy Burial Chamber and Llanfair Slate Caverns, that line the way.

Venture into Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and discover the imposing remains of Cymer Abbey, and the cascading waters of Dolgoch Waterfall.

Wander the rugged terrains of Precipice Walk, The Mawddach Trail, and Coed y Brenin Forest Park, where you will be rewarded for your efforts with awe-inspiring views across the encompassing landscapes.

A pleasant drive away, Borth Wild Animal Kingdom and Dragon Raiders Activity Park offer a fun day out for the whole family to enjoy, whilst the colourful village of Portmeirion is a hit with adults.

Closer to home, the resort town of Harlech has much to explore with a grand fortress and a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants to keep you entertained.

Take a ride on the Fairbourne Railway, or visit the museum of Tŷ Crwn, before heading to the pub for a pint with the locals and returning to your home-away-from home with a tasty bite to eat from the local takeaway.

With all this to look forward to and so much more, be sure to book a stay at Sandpiper Apartment.
