“We had a lovely time at the Shepherd's hut, and in terms of comfort, furnishings, equipment, outdoor space and privacy, the accommodation would rival any cottage.”

Set back from the road, and screened by mature bushes and trees, it was the perfect place for a relaxing stay with good parking and access from the road. It was brilliant having 2 separate huts and both were very spacious and generously and thoughtfully equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable and cosy. Set back from the road, and screened by mature bushes and trees, it was the perfect place for a relaxing stay with good parking and access from the road. It was brilliant having 2 separate huts and both were very spacious and generously and thoughtfully equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable and cosy. The outside space was just as good and the garden was lovely with various seating areas, BBQ, fire pit and very private. The location was perfect with the beach, golf course and Aberdovey train station within easy walking distance. We also walked from the beach to Aberdovey (30 mins) and Tywyn (approx 1 hour). Aberdovey itself was lovely, and we enjoyed excellent food at the Indian restaurant (cash only) the 'Coast Bistro' and fish and chips from 'Walkers'. The pubs were very friendly as well. We really enjoyed our stay at the Shepherd's hut and hope to return again in the future.
