“The only thing to pick up on was the fact that there was no WIFI in the cottage which was not made clear in the description, Everything else was truly superb, beautiful cottage, beautiful surroundings.”

Could not have suited us better. Alma and Harri and Stanley the dog were happy for us to do our own thing in their garden and I thank them for their kindness and the lovely welcome pack. Apart from the weather we had a great holiday.

Great location not far from Valley, down a quiet lane. Outside there is a big lawn and sheltered space where we had dinner and drinks in the sun. The cottage feels spacious, comfortable and very well maintained. Highly recommended!

“A relaxing stay in a great comfy and cozy holiday cottage.”

The web pictures don't do it justice. It's much larger than it looks. Very quiet location but only five minutes drive to civilisation and a good place to explore the Island from. Spotless, well furnished, comfy bed and everything works. Owners friendly and helpful . Other than the wi-fi was unusable due to poor signal (but no big deal) Y Beudy is one of the best we have stayed in over the last few years. Book it !!

“We loved this wonderful cottage.”

It provided a brilliant place to stay for our family holiday, within easy reach of so many lovely places to visit. The cottage is perfect, really well set up with lots of space and very homely. Everything was completely spotless when we arrived. Alma and Harri were such kind hosts and made sure we had everything we needed for our two year old daughter. The garden was great for the children to run around, I wouldn't change anything about this cottage - I'm sure we'll be back again!

“A lot of thought has gone into preparing this property which is finished to a very high standard.”

There was everything we needed but thankfully no left-over remnants from previous occupants such as half empty sauce bottles or jars of marmalade. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise. The owners who live close by next door were very welcoming without being intrusive, They are lovely people, very helpful with local suggestions for eating, walks etc and very responsive to any requests from us. We love Anglesey and Y Beudy is in our favourite part, although nowhere is that far away on the island. We would return to this property without hesitation.

The accommodation is cosy and comfortable and the owners are 'on hand' and so helpful. There are all the amenities you will need and wonderful places to visit nearby. Sitting outside with such a lovely outlook and weather permitting eating al fresco are precious experiences.

Cleanliness was second to none as were the facilities and extra little touches. Amazing book choices and my mum and I got through a fair few in our week there! The owners were very friendly on our arrival and we knew they were close by if we needed anything. The outside space was beautiful, including a lovely sun spot, dining area and ample grass area for children. My mum and I agreed the nicest cottage we have stayed in and we will definitely be back. Thank you to the owners for helping give us a super relaxing week which was much needed especially this year.

We loved the beautiful barn conversion which had everything we could ever need including a wonderful cupboard of board games, shelves of books and local information. It was spotless and extremely well designed and decorated. My son was particularly impressed with the garden and football goal posts and the cows in the field next door. Y Beudy was peaceful, quiet and within walking distance of the coast and a short drive to Holy Island. We were grateful for the lovely welcome pack and we hope to be back very soon.

The property

A lovely holiday cottage with stunning views across Anglesey's countryside and beyond to Snowdonia.The owners, who live close by, have ensured a peaceful and private location, only a 10-minute drive away from the pretty bay at Rhoscolyn and few more miles to Trearddur Bay. The open plan sitting/dining/kitchen is well equipped with cooker and hob, dishwasher, fridge and microwave, and there’s around dining table with seating for four people.The cosy sitting area has two comfy sofas, woodburning effect stove and flat screen TV/DVD.There is a freezer in the separate utility room.

Off this room is a small cloakroom with loo and wash hand basin. Both the double and twin bedrooms enjoy superb views across the countryside.The family bathroom has a good sized bath with overhead shower, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. Outside Y Beudy there is plenty of room.To the front of the cottage is a terrace equipped with garden furniture looking out onto a large garden which is great for children to play out in.There is an additional lawned area with seating to the side of the cottage along with a large storage area which is suitable for bikes and outdoor equipment.Off road parking for two cars. "Y Beudy is in a secluded, quiet and relaxing part of Anglesey's countryside, yet only a short drive away from shops, restaurants and pretty beaches." A lovely flowing house which is cosy year round.

In the winter, and those occasional chilly spring and autumn nights, the wood burning effect gas stove is the perfect place to end the day with a cup of tea and a book, or just relaxing with a glass of wine with friends reviewing another perfect day on Anglesey! This sweet holiday cottage will accept flexible short breaks in the low season - breaks can start on either a Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
