The property

For a five-star holiday in an exceptional setting, Penrhyn Barn near Moelfre on the east coast of Anglesey, boasts outstanding sea views and is the ideal location for a family holiday or a break with a small group of friends.

Inside, the accommodation is warm and welcoming with loads of flexible living space where guests can just relax in the large, comfortable sitting room and gaze out to see to the sea, a snug where you can curl up with a good book and chill out to get away from it all and a sun room where you can soak up the views over the gardens.

The extensive kitchen/diner is the perfect spot for joining together to cook, eat, drink and be merry with a fully fitted kitchen offering all the facilities needed to create delicious food for the whole family and a good-sized dining table, all ready for you to serve up and tuck into leisurely meals together.

The outside space is a particular feature with beautifully maintained gardens, a patio area, patio furniture, a barbecue and an outside shower, great for washing away the sand from the beach.

When it’s time for bed, make your way to the master super-king-size with TV and en-suite bathroom, or take your pick from the super king-size and twin, both with TVs.

The beautifully developed Penrhyn Farm Barn, which is near Moelfre, on the east coast of Anglesey, sits on very close to the coastal footpath looking along the shoreline towards Lligwy.

A few steps in the other direction take you down to the beautifully isolated Traeth y Ora beach, which means 'gold beach' - and you can see why!

This virtually private beach is only accessible on foot.

You can spend leisurely days on this wide arc of soft golden sand, keeping an eye out for seals and dolphins passing by.

Just relax in the large, comfortable sitting room and gaze out to see.

Penrhyn Barn is in a wonderful location for exploring the delights of Anglesey with Lligwy Beach a short walk where you can blow the cobwebs away and enjoy a good old-fashioned day on the beach.

Penrhyn Barn is in a magnificent setting just perfect for getting out and about- set within an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and a stone's throw from the Lligwy Estuary- a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) there is plenty to admire from the natural world and wildlife-rich location.

Moelfre a short walk where you will find a lifeboat station and a small selection of shops and pubs.

Other towns on Anglesey worth visiting include Amlwch, Benllech, Beaumaris, Menai Bridge and Trearrdur Bay; all offer visitors something different but all are equally captivating.

About the location

MOELFRE

Lligwy 2 miles; Benllech 2.5 miles.

Situated on the beautiful east coast of Anglesey, Moelfre is a delightful seaside village, boasting little cottages, a picturesque port, a beach, fine views of Snowdonia, a working lifeboat, and two quality pubs/restaurants. Visit the hugely popular local Seawatch Centre, enjoy fishing or watching sea birds, seals and even dolphins, or discover wonderful cliff-top walks with stunning mountain views. The village has many historic links, the most recent being the site of the tragic Royal Charter shipwreck in 1859. There are stunning sandy beaches nearby, at Benllech and Lligwy, and the lovely Red Wharf Bay, with its miles of open sands and birdlife. A perfect location for travelling around this lovely island and throughout beautiful Snowdonia.
