“The main thing about this property that sets it apart from others is the location .”

It’s within walking distance of all the facilities in Trearddur Bay and there is parking. ITS A GREAT LOCATION TO STAY! It’s warm and comfortable and very clean inside. The accommodation is a little dated but this is a small detail. What I would like to see is a bit of tidying up outside , it might not be your rubbish but there is a lot of stuff dumped in the parking bay and a broken down shed (the picture on the details depicts is far differently than it actually is) it all looks a ...

The accommodation is a little dated but this is a small detail. What I would like to see is a bit of tidying up outside , it might not be your rubbish but there is a lot of stuff dumped in the parking bay and a broken down shed (the picture on the details depicts is far differently than it actually is) it all looks a mess . Even if it’s not your rubbish try and get it sorted it was a negative point for us during our stay. Having said all this the property price maybe reflects all of this. Gill please have a tidy up outside.

The property

Occupying the first floor of a detached property, this pleasant self-catering seaside apartment is located in an elevated position and enjoys fantastic views over the sea extending towards the countryside and Holyhead Mountain beyond.

The apartment offers comfortable, clean and practical accommodation, and is nicely styled to provide a seaside base in a wonderful coastal location.

The sitting room is light and airy, with patio doors opening to a Juliet balcony.

The kitchen is well-equipped and modern with a dining area for that leisurely breakfast to set you up for the day ahead.

The bedrooms are comfortable, and both boast views of the sea out beyond the neighbouring property.

Due to the nature of the rock the property is built on, the garden has many uneven levels, with a small patio area with table and chairs at the uppermost level, and a further sitting area with furniture lower down.

This self-catering apartment is ideal as a base for exploring the area all year round.

Ty’r Enfys Bach Apartments

Trearddur Bay 0.8 miles. A detached seaside residence near popular Trearddur Bay, which has been converted into two comfortable, self-catering seaside apartments, each with their own private entrance, outside sitting area and off road parking. These two homely apartments are ideally situated within a short walk of the beach and the thriving centre of Trearddur Bay, on the popular Isle of Anglesey, and booked together or separately, they are ideal for those seeking a seaside holiday. They also lie just across the road from Porth y Pwll, a small sand and pebble cove, which is wonderful for swimming and rock pooling. Both apartments offer comfortable, clean and practical accommodation, and are nicely styled to provide a seaside base in a wonderful coastal location. It will be difficult not to spend all your time exploring the golden shores, coves, rock pools and footpaths in the local area, and just a short walk away is the centre of Trearddur Bay with tea rooms, shops and pubs. For the more adventurous there are watersports and sea fishing close by, along with bouldering at Lon Isallt Bay, a beachy little cove with steep rocks ideal for coasteering, just a short distance from the apartments. Why not try your hand at sea kayaking from Borthwen Beach at Rhoscolyn to Trearddur Bay, a great way to explore this amazing, craggy coastline? Spend relaxing days on the nearby sandy beach, or enjoy lovely coastal walks along clifftop paths, exploring deserted beaches as you go. Medieval castles such as Beaumaris and Caernarfon, as well as National Trust properties on both Anglesey and the mainland are a must, while a day trip to Dublin is well worth the short ferry crossing from the bustling port of Holyhead. Two homely apartments, sure to welcome your return following your daily adventure.

About the location

TREARDDUR BAY

Holyhead 2 miles.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
