The property

Resting by the coast in Trearddur Bay, Anglesey is this amazing, detached cottage, Angorfa.

Showcasing spacious and stylish interiors, whilst being within easy reach of Anglesey's finest beaches, Angorfa is the perfect base for a family of eight's seaside escape.

After parking in the spacious driveway, wander inside to be dazzled by a beautifully decorated open-plan living space that boasts eclectic touches throughout, including a swing seat and stunning light fixtures, whilst also showcasing those stunning views.

The kitchen hosts an array of high-quality appliances within its sleek, white fittings, so the chef of the group will find cooking a breeze!

Dinner can be enjoyed as a quick meal at the breakfast bar, or as a feast at the dining table nearby.

After dinner, continue to the sitting area where you can warm your feet in front of the multi-fuel stove as you choose your favourite show to watch on the TV; there is an additional sitting room within the property, if you wish to unwind in a more intimate space.

When night falls, throw any sandy clothes into the handy washing machine in the hall, and continue to a twin room that boasts access to its own en-suite bathroom.

Climb the stairs to discover two more well-appointed bedrooms, one being a quadruple room that caters perfectly to the younger ones of the group, and the other being a tastefully presented double room.

The bedrooms on the first floor can access a close-by cloakroom, or venutre downstairs for a rejuvenating rinse in the ground-floor shower room.

The property backs onto a delightful garden, where the kids can play on the lawn whilst you catch the sun's rays on the decking, with a glass of wine in hand.

A short walk into the village will not only bring you to a lovely selection of amenities, but will take you to the stunning Blue Flag beach of Trearddur Bay, where you can beachcombe or surf to your heart's content, before hiring a bike from Blu Chameleon for an afternoon packed with cycling through the coastal scenery.

Venture across the island to find the bustling town of Holyhead, where you can not only board a ferry to Dublin, but discover an intriguing Maritime Museum, visit the nearby Breakwater Country Park or embark on the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path.

Continue to the mainland to find the village of Rhosneigr, where another stunning beach awaits, as well as the Anglesey Golf Club and Llyn Maelog.

There is so much more to see in this beautiful part of Wales, from the RSPB location on the Isle of Anglesey to the picture-postcard settlements nestled within Anglesey's mainland, including Llangefni and Llanfairpwllgwyngyll.

Choose Angorfa for your next Anglesey adventure.

About the location

TREARDDUR BAY

Holyhead 2 miles.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
