“What a fabulous property!”

“The cottage was fabulous this is the second time we have stayed here .”

There was everything you needed beach toys and lots of board games in case of rainy days which thankfully we did not need, sun loungers and chairs for the garden . Also wine and Welsh cakes were much appreciated on arrival we will definitely be back next year .

“Lovely property, this was our 3rd visit.”

Disappointed it’s not available to book next summer. Challenge is the bin collection arrangements, which are very difficult for the property owner to influence. We left the bins out every single day, but not collected. Some space in the bottle bin, a little in the plastic/cans, but general and cupboard pretty much full when we left. They hadn’t been emptied the week before and I suspect the week before that as well (we arrived Fri 17th May).

“Lovely cottage, really well kitted out.”

Very clean and tidy. The only issue we had was the plumbing was a bit noisy so I think maybe there is air in the system and it just needs bleeding. It didn't spoil anything though we still had a great time. Location is perfect, you can walk into town or to the beach and the layout worked really well for our multi generational party. Would definitely stay again!

It was close to the beach and all the amenities Rhosneigr has to offer. The property itself (including the garden) was immaculate and the extra space upstairs with the sea view was lovely. Well fitted out but to take it to another level I would consider bedroom curtains as essential. A shelf/fitting in the en suite for soap/shampoo etc would also be beneficial. Overall a good property and we had a great holiday.

“The property is as listed - excellent.”

Unfortunately, the email from Sykes stated 3pm booking. When we tried to enter property at 3pm the cleaners were there and told us quite firmly that we could not enter property until 4pm, not even allowing us to sit in the garden. We had a few issues, but we sorted them and the housekeeper sorted the other. The design of the garden and property is perfect. This is the only property we have ever stayed in that does not provide ANY rubbish bags!!!!! We did have an enjoyable holiday and would probably book it again.

“My only point would be this - we didn’t bring our dogs as the kids were home to look after them, if we did though, as the garden is Astro turf it would be hard to let them have their morning and late night wee.”

“We would highly recommend staying in this holiday accommodation.”

It is very light, modern and spacious with 4 double bedrooms and 3 good sized bathrooms, two with walk in showers, plus led lights operated by motion sensors throughout the property. All the fittings and fixtures are high quality and the kitchen is very well equipped. Our teenage girls (who are normally glued to their phone screens) enjoyed doing the jigsaws in the upstairs loft space, which has lovely coastal views. The southwest facing garden is a great space, not overlooked and with lots of garden furniture and beach equipment in the shed. If you turn left out of the back gate, it is less than a 1 minute walk to the beach. The sweeping bays and beaches of Rhosneigr are fantastic, as well as the sand dunes and river area to the north of the village. In this spot, you can watch the planes taking off from and landing at the RAF base (they are noisy!) You can also watch the sun go down across the main bay. There are good local amenities, shops and eateries on the High Street, which is a 5 minute walk from Ling di Long. We loved staying at Ling di Long and in picturesque Rhosneigr, plus visiting the beautiful coastal areas of Anglesey. We were lucky enough to see a pod of wild bottlenose dolphins swimming round the headland at South Stack. We hope to be back soon and thank you for letting us stay in your lovely seaside home.

The owners have paid attention to detail. However, we were told in advance that one of the showers was broken which given the amount of time before our arrival we thought should have been fixed or replaced. One of the other showers definitely needs cleaning out and unblocking and the extractor broke when we put it on, maybe the maintenance needs sorting. The only other thing which would have been better was to have a king size bed in the main bedroom as the current one is just too small for comfort. That said we had a great week!

“It would be good to have a soap dish in the showers as its quite difficult to hold on to soap shower gel shampoo etc whilst trying to wash.”

Also floor is slippy in shower if its a wet room as ADVERTISED it should have some sort of non slip coating or a non slip mat, also there were glass shower screens which is a shower room not a wet room

RHOSNEIGR

Llangefni 12 miles; Trearddur Bay 12 miles; Holyhead 13 miles.

The popular seaside village of Rhosneigr is situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, famous for its spectacular cliffs and magnificent sandy beaches. The village has a varied history including a 6th century church, tales of smugglers, famous off-shore shipwrecks and from the Edwardian era it has been a fashionable holiday destination. Today it is known for its magnificent beaches and renowned watersports, providing some of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing in the UK, with tuition available in the village. Activities include fishing, sailing, sand yachting, wreck diving, golf and hours of family fun on the enormous sandy beaches. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops in the village, with the market towns of Llangefni and Holyhead (starting point for day trips to Dublin), and the city of Bangor within easy travelling distance. Rhosneigr is located near to RAF Valley, famed for Prince William's Air Sea Rescue training base.
