    “Arkoo is a lovely property.”

I loved all the lamps and all the touches that were in the house which showed that the owners really thought about how they presented their property. It really made a difference having owners who were instantly available to fix any problems. I appreciated that. I have already booked for next year. Thanks to Fiona and Jonathan.

The property

Arkoo is a holiday home in probably one of the best locations in the popular seaside town of Rhosneigr, located on the west coast of Anglesey.

Harrison Drive is just a hop and skip to everything - the beach, the shops, the ice cream parlour and every water sport you can think of.

On the ground floor you will find the sitting room which has a familiar family feel to it with plenty of seating, complete with a fire effect electric heater making it ideal for warming up after beach walks during a winter break.

With plenty to keep you amused on a family night in or if the weather drives you inside with a large flat screen TV, DVD player, SKY.

The French windows open out onto the front courtyard allowing for easy access.

The modest kitchen has everything needed to make your stay feel like a home away from home with a cooker and induction hob, extractor hood, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer microwave and toaster.

With the dining area being open plan to the kitchen it makes meal times all the more inclusive, housed in a conservatory style extension, the dining table seats up to 6 people comfortably and is handy for those summer evening barbeques, with French doors again bringing the outside in.

The enclosed back courtyard is a sunny and safe area for children to play while activities are planned.

Also on the ground floor is the family bathroom which has a bath, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.

Going up the bright staircase to the first floor will bring you to the first double room with a view across the front courtyard and then onto the pretty single bedroom.

Next to this you will find the children's bunk room, across the hall from the second double bedroom.

You will also find a shower room on this floor.

To the front of the house is the paved courtyard area and short drive up the side of the house.

Through a tall wooden gate is the private, enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue area.

This is a bit of a suntrap - ideal for summer mornings, or evening drinks!

Although Rhosneigr has a wide variety of watersports on offer there are some fantastic walks nearby, as well as fishing, golf courses and horse riding, not to mention the attractions and activities to enjoy further afield on Anglesey and beyond.

Arkoo is a happy, comfortable, family home, literally a hop and skip from everything, but most importantly the beach, so if you prefer a relaxing stay, you can enjoy the seaside life of pottering on the beach and perhaps even finding a cowrie shell or two.Bliss!

Harrison Drive is the place to be in Rhosneigr.

Note: Beach towels are not provided.
Note: Parking for second car on road outside house.
