    “We had a fabulous stay, and didn’t want for anything at all.”

    It would be nice if there was some outside furniture other than the picnic table. We were lucky enough to have some beautiful weather but didn’t have anywhere to sit in the sun. This was our second visit and we would love to stay here again.

Launched in May 2022, The grade 2 listed and recently converted Boathouse has outstanding sea views of the nearby beach, boats and right out to sea.You could sit for hours taking in the views and enjoying being right on the water.On a clear day, the view extends all the way to Ireland. The Boathouse is a stunning contemporary property, located on the excellent sandy beach, Porth Diana.

Having undergone an extensive renovation, it has been finished to an exceptional standard and is a perfect home from home in the sought after Anglesey village of Trearddur Bay. At The Boathouse, couples and families alike will enjoy breath-taking sea views from the comfort of a designer interior, as well as the convenience and variety of Blue Flag beaches nearby.

After a long day on the beach, you’re well set for a good nights sleep with underfloor heating and a log burner to keep you warm, as well as fresh crisp white linen on all beds supplied by The White Company.

The Boathouse will give you a holiday to relax, enjoy and remember. On arrival to the Boathouse, you’ll access your own private and gated driveway, and space for up to four vehicles. The first bedroom includes a king-size bed with an en-suite shower room and French doors that can be opened to highlight spectacular sea views as you wake-up with a fresh cup of coffee. The second bedroom contains two bespoke made single beds, which can also be fitted and linked together to form a second king size bed on request.This bedroom also features its own en-suite shower room.All beds are dressed with crisp fresh 100% cotton linen supplied by The White Company.

A convenient utility room with washer/dryer completes the ground floor. There is a large open-plan living space on the first floor, where you can cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen with two fridges, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and all mod cons.The dining table has seating for up to six and views out to sea, making it a perfect spot for good food and a celebratory bottle of bubbly. Afterwards, you can curl up on the large L-shaped sofa and watch your favourite show on the 43 inch Smart TV, while exceptional sea views can be enjoyed from the floor-to-ceiling picture window.

In the cooler months, you can also light the log burner to give some additional atmosphere and warmth. Outside, there is a large private patio with plenty of space to sit and relax in the sun, as well as a bench and seated table for up to eight to dine.

The property also features superfast WiFi and has USB charging points throughout.The Boathouse is a holiday destination in its own right.

The quality of fixtures and design are exceptional and, coupled with only being a few steps from the sea, you’re well set for a holiday to remember. The sandy beach of Porth Diana is adjacent to the Boathouse, where you can relax on the sand with a good book, paddle the shoreline, or try your hand at watersports.

After which, you can treat your loved ones to a well-deserved meal at the Seacroft bar and restaurant, located three minutes walk away.For nature lovers, the Porth Diana North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve has a wide variety of plant life, including the spotted rock rose, which is the flower of Anglesey. Golfers seeking to practice their swing while on holiday can do so at the neighbouring Beach Golf Course, which offers spectacular views of the bay, or at the excellent nearby 18-hole Holyhead Golf Course.

Go birdwatching at the world-famous South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Nature Reserve or have an enjoyable picnic at the magnificent Holyhead Breakwater and Country Park, where you can follow the path down the Isle of Anglesey's coast for miles and miles. Holyhead 2 miles.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
