“The property is in a nice quiet location, and only a five minute walk to the local convenience store and fish and chip shop.”

There are some nice walks in the local area. The cottage was clean and well equipped. Parking space on the drive is plenty big enough. The mattress on the bed in the second bedroom was very comfy. Main bedroom mattress was fine just not as comfy as the other (but this is personal preference, someone could easily have the opposite opinion). The beach was a ten minute drive, we kept reading in various places about paying a toll fee but we never had to, possibly this has been replaced by a parking ...

Main bedroom mattress was fine just not as comfy as the other (but this is personal preference, someone could easily have the opposite opinion). The beach was a ten minute drive, we kept reading in various places about paying a toll fee but we never had to, possibly this has been replaced by a parking charge instead? Parking at the beach car park ranged from £2 for 2 hours up to a maximum daily charge of £7 which is quite reasonable, so best to make a whole day of it. The beach is lovely, together with the island and the dunes. There are some areas of the beach where dogs are allowed and others where dogs are not allowed. Unfortunately some people either cannot read or chose to ignore this sign, so if you aren't a fan of dogs just be aware that you will still encounter them in the banned area! We had a great few days in Newborough and in this property, would definitely book again.
