“The water is not drinkable no mention on website.”

There were no basic things washing liquid or washing machine. We reached late so had to rush to get stuff. No locks on bathrooms. The cottage itself is brilliantly placed 10 /10 for that , spectacular view.. .. heating would not come on when it was cold, it seemed someone had nest on there phone and kept putting the heat down which was annoying. My nephew was so cold all night wore his jacket at night.

I'm sorry your stay didn't meet your expectations. We have installed a state-the-art reverse osmosis water purification system which is tested and serviced regularly. The water is drinkable. However, we have had some service interruptions due to the hottest and driest summer for decades. We apologise for the heating. After seeing your review we investigated & it seems that a previous guest had programmed their own schedule and not deleted it or told us that they had done this. We have now deleted it from the system. Property Owner

5miles). It was lovely to wake up to such scenic views as the weather was exceptional while we were there. The owners have definitely taken on board the previous comments as there were toilet roll, kitchen roll, tea/coffee/sugar and a welcoming pack which always goes down well. The wi fi does drop off at times but overall worked very well. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

“Having booked with you before, I had faith in the accuracy of your listings and confidence in the value for money you offer.”

The accommodation Bryn offers is basic. The feeling that the whole house has been decorated and furnished for the minimum possible outlay is inescapable. The kitchen is poorly designed and equipped and lacks a full size dishwasher. More significantly for a holiday let in an area for outdoor enthusiasts is the lack of washing machine and any means for drying clothes. No coathooks, a folding dining table with seating only for 4, no washing up liquid.... I could go on. I have no problem with any of these issues in isolation if they were reflected in the price, but 3 nights here were the same price as 7 the previous week in a far superior property on Anglesey. I'm conscious that the laws of supply and demand have pushed prices up this year but can't help feeling that in this case, we've been exploited.

“Great location , lovely property as described Would definitely book again.”

Only issue was that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working (which is no bad thing..) but as no phone reception had to travel into the village (1 mile away) if wanting to contact anyone.

BETHESDA

Bangor 6 miles; Caernarfon 10 miles.

Bethesda is a small town settled beside the River Ogwen in North Wales. Situated on the A5 between Bangor and the Snowdonia National Park, Bethesda was once a busy slate quarrying town and nowadays offers a good selection of shops and other amenities, in particular a number of chapels and pubs. The beautiful mountainous scenery of Snowdonia borders Bethesda, with the Lôn Las Ogwen cycling and walking paths skirting past. For the more adventurous, why not visit Zip World in Bethesda which is known for having Europe’s fastest and longest zip line. Capel Curig, just ten miles away, is a popular centre for walking, climbing and mountain biking, whilst Llanberis is situated at the foot of Mount Snowdon and is home to the Snowdon Mountain Railway and the National Slate Museum. Cwm Idwal is also a wonderful spot to visit, situated in northern Snowdonia – Darwin came to study the area and found tiny fossils of oceanic plant life and sea creatures in the boulders and rocks.
