Anne “A really homely, cosy, welcoming cottage with great sea views.”
Moelfre is a beautiful little village which has a pub and chip shop. It’s a great place to get away from it all to relax. We have enjoyed our visits and plan to stay again next year.

June “Keepers Cottage is a gem, well maintained, clean, well equipped, great views of the sea and mountains, situated in the quiant village of Moelfre with coastal walk very near bye.”
I would recommend this cottage and hope to return on day.
- June, September 2025Melanie “The property is beautiful with the most amazing view.”
The washing machine wasn't working but I know it has been replaced and we were made aware before the holiday.
- Melanie, July 2025Marilyn “This was the perfect cottage for us.”
Very clean, well equipped and fabulous views. I would definitely recommend it and we will hopefully be returning.
- Marilyn, July 2025Kate “Our third stay in this lovely cottage with gorgeous views out to sea.”
Well equipped and beds were really comfortable. Had an issue with the boiler but the cottage owner had it fixed quickly. We hope to stay again in the future!
- Kate, July 2025Nicola “Our recent stay at keepers cottage was fab.”
We loved the cottage. The view was spectacular. And I could not get enough of it. It was so central the local pub anns pantry and ice cream parlour were all wonderful. Not to mention the cutest wool shop. The walks from the front door were stunning . And the seals, to see them in their natural habitat whilst walking just made our days. The weather was mixed but it didn't matter. Thankyou karen your cottage made our holiday.
- Nicola, May 2025Anne “We had an amazing holiday at Keeper’s Cottage.”
I wrote in detail in guest book- great cosy place & fab view. The owner was very friendly & helpful. We have already booked to return.
- Anne, May 2025Cheryl “Another wonderful stay at lovely Keepers Cottage.”
We had everything we needed and looking at the view from the cottage is a constant pleasure whether it is morning or evening. A great find for an Anglesey holiday.
- Cheryl, February 2025David “Clearly this cottage is in a great location with great views.”
Unfortunately, elements of the property are showing their age and lacking some well needed TLC. The bed in the main bed room is horrendous and squeaks loudly with every slight move, this clearly affects sleep and comfort. I noted that this fault had been reported numerous times in the cottage Guest Book, but clearly no action has been taken, The cleanliness of the cottage on arrival fell way below the expected standard and once again there is an obvious lack of TLC, There is no access to suitable cleaning equipment within the cottage to deal with day to day cleaning, A welcome folder outlining basic heating instructions, advice, top tips is also lacking. Some work to be done on the above points before I would recommend to others.
- David, October 2024Stephanie “This is the fourth time I’ve stayed at the property and I absolutely love it”
- Stephanie, August 2024David “Lovely cottage in a great location with amazing views”
- David, July 2024Janet “Second visit to keepers cottage fabulous cottage amazing views will definitely be back”
- Janet, April 2024Cheryl “My two friends and I have just spent a very enjoyable five nights at Keepers Cottage in Moelfre.”
The property is very comfortable, spacious, well equipped and with a fantastic view onto the sea. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Anglesey.
- Cheryl, January 2024Ken “Excellent, our second visit.”
But it's the view! Stunning, don't need TV just look out of the window!
- Ken, September 2023Gareth “Lovely cottage in a good location with great views.”
- Gareth, July 2023Louise “We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful holiday home.”
It was clean and comfortable with all the bits and bobs you would need while away. And of course the best thing of all is that view. We absolutely fell in love with it and made a point of sitting outside to enjoy the view as much as we could. We didn’t want to leave and could very happily live there forever! Since coming home several people have asked for details of where we stayed. And we would very happily stay again ourselves. Thank you for a lovely stay.
- Louise, July 2023George “Beautiful cottage amazing views spotless throughout xx”
- George, July 2023Holly “Fantastic location.”
Exceptional views. Fab cottage with everything we needed. Thanks for all the advice over the phone and by text. We will be back!
- Holly, July 2023Pat “Such a delightful, extremely comfortable cottage with stunning views.”
It was a lovely bonus seeing cute bunnies in the field every day. So handy for the beautiful coastal path too. This was our third visit and we hope to stay again sometime.
- Pat, May 2023Pamela “Why would we stay anywhere else ?”
!!?
- Pamela, April 2023Janet “Lovely cottage with stunning views .”
Beautifully furnished and presented .
- Janet, April 2023Nicola “A beautiful well equipped cottage.”
Superb views. Plenty of room for us all. Two couples, a 4 yr old and a baby. Karen responded to questions promptly. We had a great holiday. Thank you Karen :)
- Nicola, July 2022Nawal “The only problem we had with our stay was when workmen came to put in a new cooker.”
They left the keys in the key box but without changing the numbers, so anyone could have walked into the house. Apart from that our stay was great - lovely house.
- Nawal, May 2022Lorraine “What a beautiful place to stay veiws superb cottage excellent nice and quiet place and good area close to local shop, pub ,and beaches are close .”
Going back in September
- Lorraine, May 2022Simon “If you're looking for the perfect location coupled with the perfect view then this is it.”
We have stopped on Anglesey many times and stopped in some lovely places but this cottage is the best location we have been to. I spoke to the owner a couple of times and she is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble
- Simon, April 2022Ian “Keepers Cottage is amazing.”
We had a great weeks holiday in a cottage that couldn’t be faulted. Keepers Cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious with amazing sea views. The cottage was like a home from home but without any disturbances, no traffic no noise just peace and quiet. The cottage is in a great area 2minutes walk to a nice pub and cafe. The costal path in near by that takes you on a walk full of stunning views and areas were you can watch porpoise swimming in the bays. I would highly recommend Keepers Cottage and Moelfre as the perfect escape from the day to day hustle and bustle of daily life.
- Ian, November 2021Vicky “Firstly I'd like to say Karen was brilliant at accommodating us.”
We have 18 month old twins and a 4 year old. She was just at the end of the phone for any questions. The cottage is beautiful and in an amazing location. Our only quibble is that the grass at the front is private property and not actually accessable. We chose the cottage because of the grass for the boys to play in and sadly it isn't obvious that it's not part of the property. So if you have kids be aware of that. But there is a lovely little patio to sit at to look at the spectacular views. The stairs are also very steep and don't fit stairgates on. We fitted one on the toddlers bedroom at the top but we had to use a chair at the bottom to stop them going up the stairs. But we would still highly recommend keepers cottage as it's an amazing location and beautiful house along with Karens very good communication skills. Thanks Karen.
- Vicky, August 2021Julie “The cottage was very nice and clean.”
It was big enough for 2 of us but would have been a squeeze for 6 people. The stairs are steep which I think should be in the information. It has lots of good quality furnishings and kitchen equipment however the kitchen units do need refreshing. The best thing about the cottage is the spectacular view and the excellent quality furniture on the front terrace. We spent every night eating outside as the weather was so glorious. We did have a problem with the hot water which was sorted out by the owners straight away once they were made aware. We had a lovely week and would certainly return.
- Julie, July 2021Patricia “Views from cottage lovely nice place to sit and watch the world go by Very ...”
Views from cottage lovely nice place to sit and watch the world go by Very relaxing location yet within easy access of beautiful beaches and fabulous walks just what we needed
- Patricia, June 2021Brian “Would of been nice to have wifi with the children and a working stairgate for the babu as the stairs were very steep.”
Other than that it was an amazing location and a beautiful cottage and we really enjoyed our stay.
- Brian, August 2020Pauline “I would hesitate to recommend Sykes Holidays in future as you robustly and wrongly disclaimed any liability to deal with the initial problems of holidays affected by corona virus.”
Only when the Competition and Marketing laws were firmly restated by the authorities did your refusal to accept any responsibility reduce. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Previously we have booked happiiy with yourselves but your robust wrongheadedness in this matter disturbs me

Kate “Lovely cottage with fantastic sea views.”
Very well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Would love to revisit. Only quibble would be the high maintenance mixer tap shower which we couldn't get to go higher than about 4ft and bathroom taps which would be impossible for anyone with motor skill problems to turn on and off. But a fab cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
- Kate, July 2020Peter “Good enough to return to Keeper's anytime.”
- Peter, November 2019Joan “Nice cottage, fantastic view, would go again.”
- Joan, September 2019Paul “We liaised with the owner, Karen, who was absolutely wonderful and with this being our first holiday as family with our infant daughter she ensured our every need was well catered for and we sincerely cannot wait to return not least because Karen is worth her weight in gold but because the property itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated.”
Oh, and the views! They need to be seen to be believed! Keeper's Cottage is right gem.
- Paul, September 2019Joyce “We had a great holiday.”
The lounge seating could be more comfortable. That would be the only complaint
- Joyce, June 2019Peter “Location is fantastic.”
Cottage position lovely with great outdoor seating and views. Cleanliness of kitchen and bathroom was a bit below expectations. Cutlery and plates needed a run through the dishwasher. Mixer taps over shower stiff and difficult to control temperature- would benefit from thermostatic shower control. Note that there is no access to the field in front, this may cause issues with younger children as there is no ‘playing out’ space adjacent to cottage.
- Peter, May 2019Paul “This is our third return visit in 18 months and continues to impress with exceptional views, excellent walks on nearby coastal path and quality of food at local restaurants and pubs.”
Keepers Cottage has benefitted from redecoration and new carpets. The adjoining properties are unfortunately undergoing refurbishment which does cause a degree of noise during the day. This did not detract from our continued enjoyment especially as there was brilliant weather yet again.
- Paul, May 2019Laura “Ideal location,beautiful views.”
Local shop just up the road for papers milk etc.Very comfortable home, the owner sorted out a small problem immediately.A wonderful relaxing week.
- Laura, March 2019Hannah “This is our second visit to Keepers Cottage and still remains a beautiful, well equipped cottage with stunning views.”
We personally stay in cottages which provide sea views and this is the best by far! The cottage is clean, comfy and everything you could need for a much needed holiday. The owner is lovely and very helpful too. We will be going again for a third visit at some point :)
- Hannah, March 2019Mark “Keepers cottage was superbly equipped for a warm, relaxing and enjoyable break.”
It was very clean. It is very well situated close to all the village has to offer. The view is one that one could not tire of. We loved staying here and will definitely rebook in the future. Thankyou for a great holiday.
- Mark, February 2019Margaret “Perfect location and incredible views.”
We had the most amazing time at keepers cottage. Everything was perfect and very comfortable. Lovely Christmas decorations, made our festive family getaway complete. We have just rebooked for next year!
- Margaret, December 2018Ann “Disappointed by lack of outside space.”
Pictures showed field in front of the cottage, but no access was permitted. No welcome pack , as with previous Sykes cottages. Washing machine broken, no alternative , one clothes peg! Light broken in the bathroom. Toilet seat very loose. Not enough towels. Poor quality utensils in the kitchen. No basic items such as salt pepper, or sugar. Lovely village but no local shop. Narrow pavements not good for pushing a pram. Beach not suitable for small children. Car parking very tight for two cars. No direct access to the house so all the luggage had to be carried some distance. Stairs are very steep, so would be a problem for some people. A few less ornaments and a few toys would also make it more child friendly. We were expecting more having paid peek season prices. Beautiful area and lots to do, but the house needs fine tuning to upgrade to match Sykes standard.
- Ann, August 2018Thank you for your feedback. The washing machine door has been replaced, a previous guest snapped the door handle and the engineer had to order a part to fix. The toilet seat has been fixed. The cottage has 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 1 flannel and 1 beach towel per person. There is numerous tea towels. The bulb in the downlighter in the bathroom is being replaced tomorrow on owner's visit. The distance from the private parking space to the cottage is approximately 18.28 mtrs which is 4 terrace houses away. Property Owner
Zoe “No wi-fi or out-door playing area, which was a bit of a problem.”
No hooks or place for outdoor clothes, shoes. Lack of sufficient products I would expect to be given for a stay in a cottage such as loo roll and hand soap. Welcome paperwork was brusque with a list of what 'not to do'- didn't feel very welcoming. View from cottage was lovely and on the coastal path. Village was very nice. Owner sorted out all issues that cropped up quickly and efficiently.
- Zoe, July 2018Chris “This is one of the nicest cottages we've ever stayed in.”
Fabulous views, amazing location and beautifully clean. All the facilities you could need. The only addition I would make to cleaning equipment, brush and hoover and that's being very picky. A local shop, a lovely pub and Ann’s Pantry all.within walking distance. Over all 10 out of 10
- Chris, May 2018Paul “We returned to Keepers Cottage having stayed 6 months ago and were not disappointed.”
The weather in this micro-climate was excellent whilst the rest of UK suffered allowing walks on the Coastal Path every day direct from the cottage. The views from the cottage across Red Wharf Bay to the snow capped mountains of Snowdonia were brilliant. Local pub and restaurant still serve excellent food. We shall without doubt return.
- Paul, March 2018Rosemary “Amazing location, stunning views, beautiful cottage and a very friendly, helpful owner.”
We would definitely like to return to Keeper's Cottage in the future.
- Rosemary, March 2018Paul “Excellent property in an ideal location for coastal walks and local eateries and pub.”
We have booked again for next year already.

- Tina, February 2017Hazel “Keepers Cottage is absolutely wonderful, it is tastefully furnished, well appointed and situated in a small village over looking the sea The views are spectacular, especially the sunrise each morning above the sea.”

A fabulous cottage in a beautiful setting, we had a great time and it was so relaxing. Ideal for exploring the island and to see the practice/training launching of the new Moelfre lifeboat. Thanks to the owner for another lovely stay at your cottage and best wishes for the future.

We do like to book cottages with Sykes and have already booked another!
- David, May 2012Tim “The cottage!”
It was clean, fresh, elegant white furniture, just perfect. The kitchen was so well-equipped, I could've baked cakes/muffins and treated it as my own - but obviously I was on holiday so was not cooking all the time. My 2.5 year old daughter loved all the teddys (in white outfits), so adorable, she had to sleep with all of them and loved her bunk bed room. The 2 main bedrooms and living room have wonderful sea views which are so beautiful to see when you first wake up in the morning, during the day and at sunset. Truly a fantastic cottage and location was perfect too.
- Tim, March 2012Teresa “Another great cottage from Sykes.”
Fantastic views and a very comfortable cottage. The village is lovely and the cottage makes a great base for exploring Anglesey and North Wales. There was so much to do and see we will have to go again. The owner was also very helpful.
- Teresa, October 2011Annette “We absolutely loved 'Keeper's Cottage' and the village, not to mention the views, nature and fresh air.”
We have already recommended the cottage to others who have also booked. We will return in the future! Thanks for a great week!
- Annette, October 2011Mrs Hibbert “The view from the cottage was breathtaking.”
The weather was dry and warm and it was lovely knowing that we were returning after being out all day to such a stylish and comfortable cottage.
- Mrs Hibbert, August 2011Jayne “The spectacular views from the front of the house, the beautiful decor inside the house and the central heating quickly warmed up the chilly evenings!”
- Jayne, August 2011Lesley “The view from the cottage was stunning!”
