Ynys Faelog Cottage is a stunning five-bedroom house situated on the tidal island of Ynys Faelog, just outside of the vibrant town of Menai Bridge, Anglesey.
Originally built in the 1700's as two fisherman's cottages.
During the reign of Queen Victoria the cottages underwent a change of use into a bathing station.
In more recent times a rebuild and refurbishment has been undertaken by the present owner.
The property benefits from underfloor heating, a combination of solid wood and slate flooring and is double glazing throughout.
The cottage, which sleeps ten guests, provides the ideal location for a family or group trip, offering spectacular views across Menai Strait and is conveniently located to explore both the island of Anglesey and mainland North Wales.
On arrival it is necessary to locate the private parking that is situated in Menai, local to the causeway leading to the cottage before unloading your belongings via the pedestrian causeway to the property.
Head indoors and start your break in the well-equipped kitchen, which features sleek appliances and dusty blue cabinets to ease your self-catered break.
Gather in the living/dining area to share meals together, catch up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV in the library, or just relax with the wood burning stove lit while taking in the gorgeous views of Menai Strait.
Find the snug or sunroom for some peace and quiet, where you can delve into a good book before the sun sets over Anglesey.
Choose to rest from one of the five tastefully-decorated bedrooms, including two super-king-size, and two triple bunk rooms, all of which are serviced by a bathroom.
The final king-size bedroom is found on the ground floor and is serviced by a contemporary shower room.
Wake up and take a stroll around an expansive lawn and woodland, outdoor BBQ and seating area and crows nest over looking the Menai Straight with two deck chairs, before heading out to enjoy North Wales attractions.
Enjoy your next group break / adventure at Ynys Faelog Cottage.
