“Lovely, quaint remote cottage.”
A little difficult to find, especially as we arrived in the dark. We did try all 3 phone numbers provided but couldn’t get an answer from any of them.
We did find our way eventually, and the track leading up to the property was extremely challenging! Just glad the snow had gone, and we didn’t come in our other car, as we wouldn’t have made it up the track.
But, once we got to the property - what a warm welcome! The fire was lit, perfect for a cold December evening.
The property is really quirky, but a little tired in places. And could have done with a more thorough clean throughout.
The shower isn’t great, and the beds are very small.
But, the location, and everything else is perfect.
All in all, a lovely short break. Perfect for some quiet and nice long walks
Dear Guest.....Thank you for your great comments in the guest book. Apologies no one picked up the phone when you were unable to find the cottage ? Yes, a long period of severe stormy weather has resulted in the track to the cottage being more difficult to negotiate we will most certainly attempt to improve access as soon as. Following a recent agency visit we believed cleaning to be satisfactory however we will check once more. Really pleased you loved the cottage and look forward to you visiting again.
