    “The cottage is in a gorgeous location and was very peaceful.”

    We enjoyed our stay although the week was very cold and the heating didn't cope very well, the fire in the lounge did help a little. The cottage could have been cleaner, we had to clean the fridge, as there was blood in it, before we put food in it so i guess this had been overlooked and there was dust and dirt on the skirting. The bed, towels and flooring were all clean, as was the kitchen equipment, which was more than adequate. Overall a lovely stay, would like to return at a warmer time of ...

    Hi there, we are so sorry you found the cottage not very clean. We sincerely apologise for the fridge, which is usually cleaned well and must've been a one off oversight. We will go over our standards with the cleaners again. We also apologise for the cottage being cold. The heaters are new and we haven’t got the settings quite right. It is such an old building and can take alot of heat to get it comfortable, we can only strive to improve and have more heaters available. Both Anglesey cottages are within a 30 second walk of the beginning of the beach and the scenic Anglesey Coastal Path, and provide well-equipped, comfortable accommodation on one level. Both Anglesey cottages enjoy wonderful sea views, a welcoming feel and are ideal for families, friends or couples alike. Llanddona Beach is part of the huge sandy beach at Red Wharf Bay which is one of the most stunning on Anglesey, with a broad and appealing sweep of golden sand, that never gets too crowded, even in the height of summer. RED WHARF BAY

Beaumaris 6.5 miles.

Along the northeast coast of Anglesey is the very large (4.5 mile-long) bay of Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name of Traeth Coch (Red Beach) rining true as the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow, and at low tide almost 10 square miles of sand is uncovered to provides safe bathing, perfect for family fun, fishing and miles of stunning, scenic walks. The large bay attracts a huge number of waterfowl and wading birds, including shell duck, grey plover, purple sandpipers, curlew, oystercatchers and dunlin. Only 3 miles away is the delightful medieval town of Beaumaris, which boasts a 13th century moated castle, lovely buildings housing excellent shops, olde-worlde pubs, restaurants, bistros, museums, as well as a golf course and exciting pleasure boat and sea fishing trips. This is a beautiful location on the east coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey.
