The property

Moelfre 0.6 miles.

Situated in the peaceful village of Llanallgo, Moelfre, Anglesey is Tyn Y Graig, a beautifully thatched Welsh cottage set in a secluded dell, it boasts original features and a gorgeous mature garden great for those wanting a romantic get-away and with the beach and local amenities within easy reach, is ideal for a family or small group of friends to explore the lovely Isle of Anglesey.

On arrival at the cottage, park up on ample off-road parking, be welcomed by the inviting greenery and be ‘wowed’ by the traditional thatched roof which adds an abundance of charm before you even get inside!

As you enter the property via a small enclosed porch, a snug sitting room invites you to kick off your walking boots and rest in front of the electric log fire.

Just across the hallway, discover a larger second sitting room which offers a log burner style gas fire, perfect for warming your toes in front of whilst watching TV.

Both sitting rooms are delicately decorated but still retain their original beams ensuring the ‘cottage feel’ runs tastefully throughout the property.

From here, escape to the conservatory with a cup of tea while you admire the colourful garden, watch the abundance of visiting birds and wildlife - if you are really lucky you may see the local red squirrels.

You may prefer to get stuck into a good book so make your way to the small reading room for an hour or two of tranquillity.

When it is time to eat, step up into the well-equipped kitchen and cook up a storm with the electric oven and hob; there is also a dishwasher here to assist with the cleaning up as you go about your holiday, as well as a washer/dryer if needed.

Gather your loved ones in the cosy dining room to dine after a busy day; the dining room boasts yet more character features and pretty, ambient lighting for evenings with a glass of wine.

Upstairs you will find two well-appointed bedrooms.

The first, a king-size room has a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and a lovely opulent feel with a beautiful chandelier; there is ample storage in the walk-in closet.

The second bedroom is an airy family room with a king size and a single bed, (a travel cot can also be placed in this room if required).

Completing the interior of the cottage is the upstairs bathroom with a walk-in shower; wake up with a hot rinse in the shower before you set off.

Separate downstairs bathroom with WC and sink for ease of access.

Outside, the character continues with the picture-perfect mature garden, hosting plenty of seating areas, a patio and a lawn; take your dining alfresco with the barbecue, or enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple in the last of the summer sun.

Whatever the weather or time of year, Tyn Y Graig makes a lovely home-from-home for your next trip to North Wales.
