“After travelling over 6 hours to get to the property using the what 3 words which is meant to be the exact location; so after an hour of searching around, trying to get hold of the owner (had to ring the out of hours number) and knocking on strangers doors late in the evening as the what 3 words and postcode was saying it was this house but it wasn't, we were told by a friendly old man that our property is half a mile down the road and this happens all the time; so not a great start to the holiday.”

Finally inside the property the general flat was super clean and tidy but we found the small details things weren't cleaned for example we went to use the oven and the trays where covered in oil and other things, some of the plates had dirty marks on them. We decided to wash up everything and found out there's no basic cleaning or washing up equipment to do so. also no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable me and my partner felt every spring, it was a small double bed (we're both slim and even for us it was pretty tight) didn't sleep at all well every night and we both woke up every morning with really bad back pain. We had to buy a mattress topper for the last 4 days it was that bad. Safety side was good but we did find a locked door in the hallway and realised there were stairs leading to the upstairs loft space ( in the bathroom you can see the stairs) which had windows and lights on which made us uneasy so we blocked that door up for safe keeping

About the location

HOLYHEAD

Trearddur Bay 3 miles.

The bustling town of Holyhead rests on the North West coast of the Isle of Anglesey, the largest town on the island and perhaps known best for being the main ferry port to Ireland. Steeped in history, the town boasts the remains of Roman town walls and forts, medieval burial chambers and stone village foundations. Explore the Breakwater Country Park, a former quarry, which offers designated walks through the grounds. The park is full of interesting wildlife, most notably the seals who visit the Holyhead coast, and outlines the amazing construction of the world's longest breakwater, some 1.8 miles, which today protects the harbour. Visit the colourful marina with its yachts and tall ships, or the town's maritime museum, with its tales of 100 shipwrecks in the vicinity. Day trips to Ireland can be enjoyed easily from here, with Dublin just 90 minutes away on the fast ferry. With spectacular cliff top walks over Holyhead Mountain, golden sandy beaches at the award winning Trearddur Bay and the Snowdonia National Park just a 20 minute drive away, this is a superb holiday location, at any time of the year.
