The property

Hafod Cottage is an attractive, detached, seaside cottage situated in its own half acre grounds in the pretty coastal village of Cemaes Bay on the Isle of Anglesey.

This cottage has been thoughtfully renovated to a high standard to provide cosy, welcoming accommodation suitable for small families or even for a romantic break on the coast.

Hafod Cottage boasts a single-storey layout and has a comfortable sitting room with a woodburning stove and distant sea views, making it a great place to relax after a full day out and about.

There is a well-equipped kitchen and a conservatory with dining table and chairs, making a good place to enjoy those delicious home-cooked meals.

There are two bedrooms, a double and a single, both with pleasant views of the garden and the far-reaching countryside.

To the outside is a large, enclosed garden with patio and furniture; a great place for children to let off steam as well as enjoying some alfresco dining.

The cottage is just a short walk from the village centre with its selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and has easy access to the lovely sandy beach which is good for young children due to the gently shelving incline and sandy shore.

Cemaes Bay also has a host of activities to enjoy, from sailing and water sports, to birdwatching and seal spotting.

The well-known Sea Zoo and a variety of National Trust properties and gardens are all within reach on this beautiful island.

Further afield take a day trip to Snowdonia National Park, visit the spectacular Llyn Peninsula or travel across to Dublin from the nearby port at Holyhead.

Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbourfront, a marina and a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy.

Whatever the weather, choose Hafod cottage for a break on the Isle of Anglesey.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £250.
