“The most dog friendly property we have ever stayed in.”
The cottage was set well back from the road so we were able to walk the dogs in the grounds (on leads due to water fowl and sheep - lambing was in progress) rather than having to brave the main road. The location, very close to the A55, meant that travel was very easy to other parts of the island. The local beach is super for dogs and watching the RAF training flights was an added bonus for us, although it could be noisy!
The island itself is lovely with some lovely beaches, walks and places of interest plus the little towns and villages to visit. Even in February we had no trouble finding coffee and lunch out each day and especially enjoyed Plas Newydd and the RSPB Centre at South Stacks. The nearest bus stop is not far away and a trip to Bangor on the bus is worth taking to see a lot of the Island.
