The views and location of the property are fantastic and the kitchen is one of the best equipped we have ever stayed in. The owners were brilliant with keeping in touch and the property had plenty of resources for someone they doesn’t know the area that well. We will definitely book again.

“Just home from a week at Gwersyllt.”

The bungalow is beautifully clean and the lovely owners Sue and Simon have thought of everything you could possibly need and were very friendly and helpful. It was so cosy to come back to after our days exploring. The fresh flowers and welcome hamper were very much appreciated too. It was our first time visiting the area and thought the scenery everywhere was amazing. Our dog loved the big sandy beach and there are plenty of places to eat locally and shops. Would love to come back and visit again soon and stay at this lovely property.

“Gwersyllt is a lovely place to stay.”

The bungalow is comfortable, warm, spotlessly clean, well equipped and finished to a high standard. It is a short walk to the shops although it is so peaceful around you wouldn’t think so. Benllech beach is a just a short walk away so what more could you ever need from a holiday stay. The contact from the owners was great and the welcome lack a really nice touch which got the week off to a good start.

“As soon as you open the door you can tell that a great deal of love and hard work has gone into creating an immaculately clean, ideally positioned, warm family holiday home away from home.”

Simon and Sue have tried to think of everything, from emergency toothbrushes, to buckets and spades for the young ones. The welcome hamper is one of the most thoughtful we‘ve ever enjoyed and the fresh flowers show that the hosts concentrate on their guests enjoyment over profit, which is heartwarming to experience. The bedrooms are neat, tidy and functional and are fresh, and incredibly clean. This is our second visit this year and privately we had mentioned to Simon and Sue that we found the beds to be somewhat unforgiving, so this year they had put a “topper” on the double bed to improve the comfort. That is the measure of these delightful owners! We have never been during the summer months but the private courtyard garden, and summer house would be a beautiful place to dine in the warmth of a Welsh spring and summer. We enjoyed a wonderful week, with wall to wall sunshine, and we would not hesitate to recommend Gwersyllt (The Cabin) to others looking for phenomenal value, caring owners, and a bolthole close to the beach and amenities in the centre of Benllech. Very highly recommended.

“We have really enjoyed our stay at Gwersyllt the owners have thought of every home comfort, and been very helpful.”

The bungalow is spotless and it's been a pleasure to stay there. There are plenty of amenities in walking distance the local beach is beautiful. Also a trip to Red Warf Bay is a must I'm sure we will be returning in the not so distant future.

“This was our 2nd time this year staying at Gwersyllt, last time was May.”

Everything was very clean, we enjoyed all the goodies. Half way through our holiday the bedding towels were changed and a quick tidy. We got round the island as we have been coming to Anglesey for many years. Thank you to Sue & Simon for all your texts to make sure we were ok. Bob and I enjoyed our stay at Gwersyllt and hope to be back on 2025.

“The property was lovely, clean and tidy.”

The welcome hamper was much appreciated. We loved the snug area and enjoyed meals around the spacious dining table. The living room was great to come together to enjoy a film in the evening, the bedrooms were all comfortable and the shower was powerful. We were also able to enjoy the outdoor space thanks to the lovely weather which was enclosed and safe for our dogs. The location was great with shops, cafes, and take aways a very short distance away. The beach was beautiful, we enjoyed our daily beach walks and the dogs loved them! Our children also enjoyed the ice cream parlour, the arcade and had a game of Crown Green Bowling at the local club which is just minutes away. Tennis was also available too. We will definitely recommend the property to our friends.

“This bungalow is conveniently situated for all of the local amenities and, of course, the beautiful beach at Benllech.”

The property is immaculate with a superb level of attention to detail to make sure you want for nothing during your time at the bungalow. The owners Sue and Simon, have worked hard to provide you with a home from home and they are very friendly and welcoming and check in with you during your stay to ensure that everything is as it should be and that you want for nothing. We have stayed here several times before and the standards are always the same. It is our “go to” cottage for Benllech which is unrivalled by any others that we have stayed in! We would have no hesitation in recommending this bungalow to anyone wishing to stay here - you will have a great time!

“Sue and Simon have taken great care, and attention to detail, to provide a perfect holiday home for their guests.”

The house is superbly clean and comfortable, but the owners go the extra mile, with the little extra touches, that make a stay memorable, and totally stress free. The welcome hamper is generously filled with treats, and the all essential teas and coffees, for that first cuppa, on arrival. Even doggie treats!. Fresh flowers in the dining room, and an interesting selection of books in the snug, featuring the local area, to browse through. We loved reading about the history of the lifeboat at Moelfre, and the nature in Anglesey. All the beds were super comfy, and towels of excellent quality. The summer house, and outdoor space are lovely places to relax too. Sue is extremely attentive, and we appreciated her contact with us, during our stay. She was keen to ensure our stay went smoothly. Our week here was just the relaxing break we had wished for, and the we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Anglesey.

“The house is great.”

Well equipped. Spotlessly clean. Lots of space and the garden was a big bonus. The location is great for the beach. Tesco is the corner shop and there are great take away options in walking distance too. The owners were in touch via text to check in which was very helpful. They also left a generous welcome pack and milk int he fridge so we could have a nice cup of tea when we arrived after a long journey. Worked really well for our dog (Labrador) as there was space in the snug for her crate, easy access to the kitchen round the side of the house and a hosepipe to clean her off after the beach. The parking space for 2 cars was important as Benllech was so busy due to school holidays (another space would be even better).

“We have just returned from a lovely week in this super clean, comfortable and well appointed home from home.”

The bungalow is spotless, perfectly located for all you need on your door step and a great location for exploring the Island. Sue and Simon were perfect hosts providing many personal touches from beautiful flowers, a generous welcome pack for us and Mabel our beagle and welcoming texts throughout our stay. In no way were they intrusive at any point. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who is looking for a central location to explore or equally relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Benllech also did not disappoint with its stunning beach and many lovely places to eat and drink without having to take the car.

“What a lovely clean and beautiful bungalow which was very comfortable.”

Everything you need is in walking distance Tesco ,dog friendly cafes, pub , pet shop, restaurant even the ice cream shop is dog friendly too.The beach has got dog friendly sections from May to September this is a large area of beautiful sandy beach.My husband has a mobility scooter and every where was accessible with lots of day trips We had a fabulous week and have booked for next year already. “We had an amazing week in Gwersyllt.”

The bungalow was spacious and very clean. Sue & Simon left lovely touches and the hamper was a real bonus, even doggy treats for our black lab Bob. The major bonus of this bungalow is the location, so close to shops, pubs, restaurants and the fantastic beach. Get the tide right and the walk to Red Wharf Bay is fantastic. The bungalow was a good location as a base to explore the rest of the island which is glorious. We would definitely recommend Gwersyllt and would also recommend booking a meal at Pebbles which is dog friendly.

“The hosts left us a welcome package of ground coffee, teas, milk and sugar, cake and biscuits, even chocolates for grandson.”

Very thoughtful and much appreciated. The property was spotlessly clean, had every kitchen utensil we needed and enough cutlery and crockery to fill the dishwasher plus spare to use. Brilliant location, 10 mins walk to beach, even closer for shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. We visited during storm Kathleen but still managed to have a fabulous week and the property was so spacious, we could spend time there to watch TV, play games, or find our own ‘quiet spot’ to read. Highly recommend.

It's such a spacious and well equipped property. There were 5 plus a dog in our party and we had ample room. The children especially loved the snug. There was nothing we needed, bedding and towels were included and we received a welcome hamper on arrival. The owners, Sue and Simon, were lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend this property as a base to explore the Island. It's walking distance to the amenities and beach. We're already talking about when we can go back.

“Just arrived back from a wonderful week at Gwersyllt.”

The bungalow is extremely spacious; accomodating 3 adults, 2 children and a 3 year old Catlan Sheepdog. The drive fit both cars on perfectly and would easily fit another one. The bungalow has a back patio area totally enclosed; ideal for a dog and younger children. There is also a lovely summerhouse and a large outside table/chairs, which we didn't use because of the time of year but would be ideal in the warmer months. Gwersyllt had everything we needed. Sue and Simon had thought of everything from a welcome hamper for us all, including our dog and beautiful fresh flowers which bloomed all week. Everyone had 2 large fluffy towels and the beds were extremely comfortable. We found everyone in Benllech to be friendly, especially the next door neighbour. The bungalow is in a very quiet, safe area. The shops (Tesco), restaurants, cafes, chip shop, ice-cream shop and the magnificent beach and coastal walks are all in walking distance. We walked the coastal paths and the beach to Red Wharf Bay. Gwersyllt is ideally placed for exploring other areas of Anglesey, including the nature reserve at Newborough, encompassing sea, sand and woodland, also Beaumaris, Almwch, Rhosneigr, Treaddur Bay. The Benllech restaurant did an amazing Sunday Lunch, Finneys chip shop was great for takeaway and easily ordered online in advance (very busy so saved waiting) and Sea Shanty in Rhosneigr also did amazing food with stunning views. Gwersyllt was our home from home and we will definitely be returning. A gorgeous bungalow in a magnificent area of natural beauty; missing the walks and beach already! “This property is really exceptional with the owners, Sue and Simon, giving so much attention to detail that we could not have wished for a more perfect place to stay.”

The owners checked with us during the early part of our stay that we had everything we could possibly need and we ended up having a nice chat. The position and location of Gwersyllt is amazing being close (but not too close!) to the shops, restaurants and takeaways that we walked to them leaving the car at home! It is also close to the fabulous beach with many more beaches within an easy car ride. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this cottage to anyone who is looking at Benllech as you will have a wonderful stay - Sue and Simon will make sure of that! They are the best hosts and really care about how their property is presented. Well done!

“We have stayed in a number of holiday cottages and this one is the best by far.”

It was immaculate, the kitchen was very well equipped, everything you could need was provided. We found the beds very comfortable along with the sofa's in the lounge. The patio area was secure for our dog Murphy. The location is ideal for the beach, shops and take aways. The welcome pack even included dog treats. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and look forward to returning in the future.

“This property is a gem.”

A pristine, immaculate bungalow in a quiet Benllech suburb. It’s perfectly located close to the Benllech amenities and a short 5 minute walk downhill to the wonderful beach, (although it’s longer walk back up the steep ascent!) Sue and Simon have made a concerted effort to think of every single item that you’d need during your stay, from a pizza cutting wheel, to a bucket and spade for our 4 year old grandaughter. They’re obviously very considerate hosts which was greatly appreciated. The home is a delight and we settled in very quickly. This is undoubtedly one of the finest rental accommodations in Benllech, due to its high standards and ideal position however we had some reservations about the beds. We found the mattresses to be hard and unforgiving, (and I tried sleeping in them all!). That said, would it prevent our return? Absolutely not, but we’d probably take a topper to ease our geriatric bones! Book it, you won’t be disappointed and you’ll be ideally situated to revel in the delights of this warm and welcoming part of the beautiful island of Anglesey.

“We have stayed in many cottages, but this bungalow was one of the best.”

It was warm, comfortable. 3 bedrooms with plenty of storage. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of extras. The patio area was safe and secure for our dog Beau. The location was excellent for all local amenities including beach/restaurants/take aways/cafes/supermarkets etc. It was an ideal base for visiting all the island. We can highly recommend this property.

“This was our 3rd visit to the property this year and, as usual, the property was well maintained and planned with the guests best interests at heart.”

There was nothing that we wanted or needed. The position of the property is handy for Benllech beach and a short drive takes you to surrounding beaches that were equally as good and perfect for two small dogs! The property is within walking distance of the local amenities and a new Indian restaurant/takeaway had opened since our last visit which we tried. Everything about Benllech and the property, including the owners, Sue and Simon, are first rate. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to other clients that were looking to rent in Benllech!

“Excellent property, second to none for facilities, maintenance and cleanliness.”

We are quite a large booking using all bedrooms with 2 small dogs, age range 60- 5 months old, the excellent layout and design of the bungalow allowed us all to spread out and relax. The outside space is also plentiful and well maintained. The facilities and equipment provided especially in the kitchen is the best I have ever experienced in a holiday let. The owners make themselves available throughout providing an extra layer of support.

They welcome us with a welcome pack. The bungalow was well decorated and well equipped with everything that you need. The location was great. surrounded with all your amenities, sue and Simon was very helpful with giving me information on places to visit and markets to go to, It was definitely, home from home feeling. My mum and elderly grandma enjoyed every minute on the beach in the bungalow at the markets and sightseeing. It’s definitely a place worth going to.

It is well suited for all the amenities that Benllech has to offer and is close to the lovely beach - perfect for walking the dogs every day. If you are considering Benllech as a holiday destination you would be hard pressed to find a better cottage than Gwersyllt! We would recommend it to anyone!

“Gwersyllt is a superb property in a great location only a few minutes walk from the centre of Benllech with access to shops, restaurants and take aways.”

It is a few minutes drive from Benllech beach or a bit longer if you are walking! It is within easy access to the numerous beaches on Anglesey. The property itself is presented extremely well and the owners, Sue and Simon, have given all the details a great deal of attention with nothing lacking so we had no complaints at all. It is extremely dog friendly with a secure back garden for them to wander in and out at will. We were made to feel very welcome with a pack of goodies for both us and our two dogs. We had a fantastic holiday (the excellent weather helped!!) - thank you! It is a new property to the rental market and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to potential visitors. Jill

The wonderful hosts, Simon & Sue, have thought of everything you need to make your holiday special. A lovely welcome pack of essentials & treats for you & your pooch, a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, spacious & clean, large secure garden with patio furniture & even a summer house. It's in a very quiet residential area that's only 5 mins walk from the centre of Benllech, with dog friendly pubs, shops, chippy, takeaways, cafes, butchers, everything you need. Just a short. Walk down the hill to the wonderful beach, which you can walk along to Red Wharf Bay (for more dog friendly cafes & pubs) or there's a coastal walk if the tide is in. You will need to walk back up the hill unless you drive to the beach it there are 2 benches on the way to pause & enjoy the view!

“A real gem, set in a convient location close to local amenities and a short walk/drive to the beach which is stunning.”

The accommodation was spotless, so well equipped and with added extras such as fresh flowers and welcome goodies for us and our dogs! The accommodation is very spacious with an enclosed garden perfect for the dogs. We have had an amazing break away, the owners have really thought of everything, we would definitely return. The bungalow was well equipped and a home from home, nicely decorated and clean. It is a great base for a holiday, 5 min walk to local restaurant, pubs, cafes and supermarket. 10 mins walk to the beach and coastal path. We will definitely book again, thanks for the lovely stay.

Benllech has a beautiful, long and sandy beach, much favoured by families, with a slipway allowing easy access for all. A variety of shops and cafés front the beach, with a picnic area to the side, whilst the village centre offers more shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants. The setting promises to suit every taste, with the village itself ideal for family holidays, whilst the rural setting offers peace and easy access to the coast, rural Anglesey and of course the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
