A good location from which to explore the rest of the island. The rooms were spacious, the underfloor heating very nice, and the beds comfy. A well looked after property.

The house was spotless and well maintained. Comfy living room and bedrooms, and a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Perfect location with the beach at the end of the road. Just need to save some energy to get back up the hill on the way home! There is a bench half way if you need a rest. Benllech is great base for a holiday in Anglesey, we had some great days out just a short drive away. We will be back, Thank you.

Well equipped. Also there were some books, and also some things for children to play with. Wifi included (password on back of router). Ten minute walk to beach (uphill but there's a bench half way) and ten minute walk the other way to shops (co-op & Tesco) and takeaways. Local beach lovely and plenty of things to see without driving too far. Beaumauris lovely also Plas Newydd National Trust. I was surprised you could see the Great Orme at Llandudno from here.

It was very clean & comfortable. It had some lovely touches such as the sprinkler outside the front door to wash sand off your feet, heated towel rails, full size fridge freezer, toys & books for children, washing machine & lovely outdoor seating. The beds were very comfy and the house was well equipped. The location was fantastic for the beach & sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the near future.

Julie “We were very disappointed with this property from the minute we walked in.”
There was an overwhelming smell of mould / fusty, like it had been locked up for too long. The soft furnishings (sofa’s, carpets) are all dirty and smell awful, the towels also had that ‘dirty’ smell to them. The kitchen cupboards are a disgrace, every one has a layer of grease on the doors and handles. The main bathroom was okay, the location is good but there’s a long way to go to get this property to the standard I expect. Sorry, but not acceptable to us, and would not recommend this place or Sykes as I thought they would check properties before adding to their website.

Your comments about the poor cleanliness of the property have come as a shock because they are incongruent with previous positive feedback we have received. Thus, I’m struggling to understand why you did not get in touch with Sykes to let them know about your views on the property. If you had brought this to our attention at the time we could have asked the housekeeper to come back, inspect the property and where necessary improve the situation for you. Prior to your stay the house was cleaned by a professional cleaning company. The bedding and towels are professionally cleaned off site. In addition, the morning before you arrived a family member came in to complete a thorough check and do some extra jobs. I have spoken with both of these parties and they did not see these issues. However, we have taken on board your feedback and we will review the situation. Property Owner

Lisa “The house itself is in a perfect location and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us.”
However the property is getting a bit tired in places and in need of a good deep clean. There was a problem with the master bedroom en suite drains smelling. Also found broken cafetiere in cupboard. Frying pan and oven trays need replacing. Other than the above points we did have a wonderful holiday, and will return to Benllech.

We had more than everything we needed as a couple but ideal for families too with some books,puzzles and games. Plenty of beach equipment available as well . Nice enclosed garden also . There was a file full of information and instruction leaflets for appliances. These were most helpful. Lovely to have a good size fridge /freezer. Benllech bay is a gorgeous sandy beach. The bungalow is very well situated to walk down to it. An uphill climb back but this wasn’t too bad at all. A short distance down the road is a Tesco Express and a Coop. About 7 miles away in Llangefni is an Asda and a Lidl. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. All parts of Anglesey easily accessible. Can’t wait to return for another holiday.

Great location, about a 10 minute walk from the beach. The Breeze Hill pub is a two minute walk up the road. Other pubs and chippy, shop etc is about a 10 minute walk too. Steep up hill walk back from the beach though, those less mobile may struggle. Cottage was very clean, 2 lovely, small gardens with patio furniture. Would definitely like to return

Two families staying with young children, great layout and location. Toys and books for the children was a welcome addition to the property. Would stay again. The only thing that would have made the stay even better was the option for an earlier check in. Having to wait until 5pm to check in wasn’t ideal with a baby and an infant. It meant it was a rush to unpack and prepare food before bedtime!

Close to Bellnech beach (though a incline gradient) only a 10 minute walk. A useful location to explore Anglesey.

The oven was filthy had a go at cleaning it the water was black. Messaged the owner who apologised and sent a cleaner in the next day. Reached a glass out of the cupboard that wasn’t clean and utensils in drawers were not clean so at that everything came out of draws and cupboards and went in dishwasher. Draws and cupboards wiped clean. A grape was found on the lounge floor rubbish behind draws in bunk bedroom and on suite shower smelt. Plug hole was not clean hence the smell. A shame,cleanliness at this time should have been spot on but far from it very disappointing

The house is well furnished and the hosts have thought of everything, with lots of little extras (i.e. dvd’s / books / cleaning products!) which made our stay very comfortable. The accommodation was spacious for 4 adults and 2 children with plentiful parking. A short walk to the local co-op, Tesco, chippy and the beautiful Benllech beach made it the perfect location. We were so lucky to have beautiful weather too! I would love to return to Benllech soon and we would definitely stay here again.
