Located between Menai Bridge and Beaumaris, you are just a few minutes drive or a short walk to all the fantastic independent shops, cafes, pubs and popular places to eat that they both offer.

The kitchen is well equipped and includes an electric oven & hob, fridge freezer, slimline dishwasher and microwave. There is a dining table that can seat 6, plus an additional area with two bar stools.

The cosy sitting room has a flat screen Smart TV and a relaxed seating area and great views towards Snowdonia and the Menai Straits.

On the first floor we have a twin room and double room with a comfy king sized bed and amazing views.Up to the second and there is a twin room set in the eaves, which again makes the most of the panoramic views.

Please keep in mind the height as well as the stairs being a little steep. Bryn Teg Cottage has two bathrooms.

The family bathroom has bath with shower over, wash hand basin and loo.The bath has great views over the Menai Straits, perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring. The spacious lower ground level has shower, loo and wash hand basin, and easy access to the garden. Outside has an enclosed courtyard garden with balcony views and dining table for six, perfect for an al-fresco breakfast or a refreshing beverage.

At the front of the house is a wooden bench, a great little spot for enjoying the last rays of the sun or simply to help you unload! Access to parking opposite the property and down the lane.

There are great days out to be spent exploring and the choices seem endless. Some of our favourites, all a short drive away, including heading to the sandy beach in Llanddona, walking over to Penmon Point to see the iconic lighthouse and visiting the hidden gardens at Plas Cadnant, where you may even see some red squirrels! Within walking distance, you have the waterfront Gazelle Hotel; perfect for a bit of boat watching on the Straits and the grand Chateau Rhianfa, both serving good quality food.

About the location

MENAI BRIDGE

Llanfairpwllgwyngyll 2 miles; Bangor 2.5 miles; Beaumaris 4.5 miles; Caernarfon 8 miles

This delightful town sits right on the edge of the Isle of Anglesey and is home to one of two bridges to mainland Wales. It is an ideal base for a holiday and is great for exploring this beautiful island. It has a strong history which can be discovered in the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum, the well known Saint Tysilio lived on Church Island, just off of Anglesey in the 7th century, hence the name of the 15th century St. Tysilio's Church. Menai Bridge itself offers a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. In terms of entertainment, this is an ideal spot with something for everybody, there is the butterfly palace 'Pili Palas' which is incredibly popular with families, as well as the astounding Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens well worth a walk around. The Snowdonia National Park is within driving distance for you outdoor enthusiasts, it has wonderful walking, cycling and opportunities to see some beautiful sights. Nearer to the town, there are some incredible places including the popular towns of Beaumaris and Caernarfon with their majestic castles and much more to do.

Note: the stairs are a little steep going to basement level. Note: one twin room is in the eaves so ceiling height is limited.
